Leg Flexibility by Kungfu.life

As someone who has always had respect and admiration for Shaolin's and what they are able to do, watching a few random videos I came across an excellent one on YouTube from KungFu.Life for leg flexibility.

It's simple, doesn't take long and all you need is a chair or something similiar. Having performed this nearly everyday for the past week I can definitely feel the leg flexibility getting better in ways I hadn't before.

The bridge, also known as the back bridge, is a simple and basic but effective lower back strengthening exercise that can be done anywhere.

The bridge also targets your inner core and gluteal region, helping improve your posture and your posterior chain.

Site Update

It's Springtime and as such it's time for a spring clean of sorts. So I decided to give the site a quick revamp just to freshen it up. New elements include:

  • A new logo design
  • A new catchphrase
  • A new header design as a result
  • A new template background

All in all I have to say I like the grittier feel of it.

Common Deceptions - Before and After Pictures

Before and after pictures, a staple of the fitness industry. Everyone has seen at least half a dozen this past week alone no doubt whether on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter etc. Some of these transformations are quite stark and look really impressive really making a personal trainer look great. Whilst in many cases the clients have made good or even great progress, the pictures are not always what they seem.
